Office of Communications
As part of the Enrollment Division, the Office of Communications spreads the word about Mount Holyoke’s distinctive strengths and newsworthy accomplishments. We use a range of mediums to connect the College with prospective students and their parents, as well as with alumnae, donors, the media, and the surrounding community. We also help faculty, staff, and students stay informed about campus news and College-sponsored initiatives.
Headquartered below Chapin Auditorium in Mary Woolley Hall, our team produces award-winning print and Web promotional materials, such as the viewbook and the virtual tour. We’re also the people behind the annual course catalogue, the News & Events Web page, online faculty profiles, and Vista. In addition to telling the Mount Holyoke story, the Office of Communications helps the College develop high-visibility programming such as Take the Lead, a leadership program for high school girls; the hosting of the Women's U.S. Open in 2004; and Mount Holyoke’s continuing education partnerships with the New York Times.
