Video & Multimedia Production
LITS supports video production and editing and other digital media (audio, images, etc.) in our mediated workspace called the MEWS.
All of the workstations in the MEWS have multimedia capabilities for simple digital video editing. In addition there is a Multimedia Teaching Area with eight workstations and two plasma screens dedicated to working on, or teaching, more complex video production, 3-D animation, and audio mixing. The MEWS is available to all students, faculty and staff whenever the LITS complex is open.
Faculty support for curricular projects can be obtained by making an appointment through your LITS liaison or by coming in during the "on call" hours of 2:00-4:00pm weekdays for the Faculty Development Area, also in the MEWS.
Student-staffed drop-in support hours are available during the semester for anyone needing instruction on equipment/software use or for help troubleshooting a project.
